Refunds & cancellations

Scope

This policy applies to paid enrolments in the Candlestick Pattern Intensive, Evening Pattern Lab series, and Private Chart Review appointments offered by Logic Apps Digital. It does not cover third-party software, brokerage fees, or products we do not sell.

Eligibility overview

Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance you cancel, whether the seat can be filled, and whether instruction or pre-work review has already begun. Deposits and fees are handled as described below.

Intensive (Candlestick Pattern Intensive)

• Full refund of amounts paid if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before day one, minus any non-recoverable third-party room costs we have already disclosed to you in the confirmation (usually none for our own desk).
• Partial refund (50% of tuition paid, or deposit retained — whichever leaves us whole for a late vacancy) if you cancel between 13 and 7 days before day one.
• No refund for cancellations within 6 days of day one, no-shows, or departure after the intensive has started, except where Taiwanese consumer law requires otherwise or we cancel the intake.

If we cancel an intake, you receive a full refund of amounts paid or, at your option, transfer to a later intake.

Evening Pattern Lab

• Full refund if you cancel at least 10 days before the first class.
• After the series begins, unused weeks are not individually refundable; transfer to a later series may be offered at our discretion if seats exist.
• Missing individual evenings does not create a partial cash refund.

Private Chart Review

• Full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the appointment.
• Cancellations inside 48 hours, or no-shows, forfeit the session fee. Pre-read work already completed may be delivered without a live meeting at our discretion; no additional fee applies in that case, and no refund is issued.

Deposits

Intensive deposits (NT$5,000) are applied to tuition. They become non-refundable once we are inside the 6-day window before day one, matching the no-refund rule above, unless we cancel the intake.

Work already started & materials

Once instructors have begun pre-reading your submitted charts or have delivered any session hour, fees for that work are non-refundable. Printed materials already issued are non-returnable; digital drill sheets remain yours for personal use under the Terms.

Rescheduling

One complimentary reschedule is allowed for Private Chart Reviews if requested at least 48 hours ahead. Intensive seat transfers to the next published intake are allowed once if requested at least 14 days ahead and if a seat exists; an administrative fee of NT$800 may apply. Evening Lab transfers follow the same seat-availability rule.

Refund process & timing

Email hello@logic-apps.digital with your name, lesson type, confirmed dates, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add a few days beyond our transfer.

Exceptions

Serious instructor illness, venue closure, or force majeure may trigger full refunds or free transfers at our option. Disagreement with educational opinions or dissatisfaction with personal trading results after training is not, by itself, a refund ground.
