Candlestick Pattern Intensive
A three-day, instructor-led workshop for active traders who want fluent reading of reversal and continuation candles under session pressure.
Who it is for
Traders who already place discretionary or rules-based trades and can name basic candles, yet still freeze when a doji prints at a prior high or when an engulfing bar fails into the next session. You should be comfortable with your charting software and bring recent trades where candle context mattered.
What you leave with
Fluent pattern calls under time pressure: identifying the family (single-bar, dual-bar, triple-bar), stating the location relative to structure, and deciding whether the setup earns risk. You also leave with a personal pattern log template filled from the workshop charts — not a generic poster of twenty shapes.
Scope included
- Morning theory blocks on body-to-wick ratios, shadow significance, and gap context
- Live and replay chart drills across Taiwanese equities, FX pairs, and index futures commonly used by our participants
- Pair call-outs: one trader names the candle; the partner challenges location and invalidation
- Evening review of the day’s missed or forced patterns
- Written feedback on three of your own historical setups (submitted before day one)
Excluded
We do not teach broker selection, order-routing mechanics, indicator stacking, or portfolio construction. Position sizing is discussed only as it relates to candle invalidation levels. Automated strategy coding is out of scope.
Provider & process
Two instructors rotate between lecture and floor coaching. Day one maps single-bar families (hammer, shooting star, doji variants, spinning tops). Day two covers engulfing, harami, piercing, and dark-cloud logic with counter-examples. Day three stresses multi-candle structures and “stand aside” discipline when context is thin.
Duration & delivery
Eighteen instructional hours across three consecutive days, typically 09:30–16:30 with a midday break. Primary delivery is at our Luzhu Shiang desk; a live remote cohort runs when travel is impractical, using the same drill cadence.
Preparation
Submit three annotated charts from your last two months of trading at least five days before the intensive. Bring headphones for remote seats. Arrive able to mark support/resistance without prompting — we assume that baseline.
Constraints
Maximum eight seats per intake. Taiwanese Mandarin support is available on request for clarifying terms; primary instruction is in English. Markets discussed reflect instruments our cohort actually trades; we will not invent exotic examples for spectacle.
Pricing basis
NT$18,500 per seat includes materials and feedback. A NT$5,000 deposit holds your place; the balance is due seven days before day one. See Rates and Refunds for deposits, cancellations, and transfers.
Next step
Register your interest with the instruments you trade and the candle families that give you the most hesitation. We reply within two business days with the next intake dates.
